Cannabis for Cavities and Dental Pain
Smoking is generally not ideal for cavities and dental pain, and can certainly cause inflamed gums and cavities. Smoking cannabis is not necessarily ideal for treating dental issues, and the drying & saliva-reducing effects of cannabis can certainly cause damage to the mouth.
However, cannabidiol (CBD) has strong anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that may help with tooth pain and gum inflammation. Applying cannabis as an oral spray, oil, or tincture (non-alcohol based) may be better suited for dental pain, and the effects are not necessarily immediate.
